The firm’s managing partner, since 1990 Charlie has concentrated his practice in personal injury litigation, workers' compensation, and Social Security law. He is experienced in employment and labor law. Attorney Casartello has represented injured people and labor unions throughout Massachusetts. Attorney Casartello has been recognized for his incredible work in issues of workers health and safety and has been awarded the prestigious William Pynchon award, given to individuals whose lives and achievements typify the ideals of promoting citizenship and the building of a better community in western Massachusetts.

Charlie represents people who have suffered injuries at construction sites, on commercial and residential premises, in motor vehicle accidents, and as the result of exposure or interaction with defective products. Within the labor and employment sector, Attorney Casartello has litigated a substantial number of cases involving employment discrimination and ERISA claims.

Prior experience as a U.S. Senate staff assistant and as a corporate attorney and hu-man resources manager has given Attorney Casartello valuable knowledge and in-sight into administrative law and safety and health issues, as well as workers' compensation, employment issues, arbitration and collective bargaining. This experience has proven valuable to his clients in their disputes with insurance companies, employers, and employers' representatives.

After attending the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Springfield College, Attorney Casartello earned his Juris Doctor degree at Western New England College of Law.

He practices in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts and before the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents and the Social Security Administration. Attorney Casartello is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Hampden County Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers.

In 2000 he received the Harriet Louise Hardy Award for outstanding service to workers in issues of health and safety. In 2003 he was named a Griffin's Friends Children's Cancer Funds' Silent Hero and also received the Massachusetts Bar Association Community Service Award.
