Within the labor and employment sector, Attorney Casartello has litigated cases involving employment discrimination and ERISA claims.
Prior experience as a U.S. Senate staff assistant and as a corporate attorney and human resources manager has given Attorney Casartello valuable knowledge and insight into administrative law and safety and health issues, as well as workers’ compensation, employment issues, arbitration, and collective bargaining. This experience has proven valuable to his clients in their disputes with insurance companies, employers, and employers’ representatives.
After attending the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Springfield College, Attorney Casartello earned his Juris Doctor degree at Western New England College of Law.
He practices in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts and before the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents and the Social Security Administration.
Attorney Casartello is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Worcester County Bar Association. Also a member of the Hampden County Bar Association, he was a long time Board member and served as President. He was also a Board member of Community Legal Aid, at which he was President, and Central West Justice Center.
