The injured worker was a 45-year-old male working supervisor who was injured in a fall from a piece of equipment at work.  He had an underlying non-work-related condition which had had required the placement of a shunt.  The work-related fall damaged the shunt, resulting in chronic headaches and other symptomatology.    We brought a claim at the Department of Industrial Accidents for permanent and total disability benefits after the expiration of his temporary total disability benefits and were successful at the Conference level.  The WC Insurer appealed, and we were able to settle the claim at the Hearing level.
